Medigap is supplemental insurance for those that are enrolled in Original Medicare. Medigap can reduce or eliminate the amount that you need to pay for certain Medicare costs. This means that you’ll keep the same great coverage, but you’ll pay less for certain services.

Are you interested in learning more about how to find a Medigap plan that is right for you? Then keep on reading!

Choosing Between the Plans

The ten different Medigap plans are differentiated between the various areas of coverage that they offer. Some plans provide coverage in a more comprehensive way, such as Plan F or G, but those policies will most likely have higher premiums. If you’re concerned about how much premiums cost, it’s important to keep in mind that Kauffman Insurance Group is here to help you compare your options and find you a Medigap that’s within your budget!

We understand that choosing a Medigap policy can be a complicated and confusing process. That’s why we will provide you with multiple quotes and help you compare the coverage between each plan so you know which one will fit your needs best!

As previously mentioned, the ten Medigap plans will have varying levels of coverage for:

  • Part A and B deductibles
  • Part A and B coinsurance and hospital costs
  • Part A hospice care coinsurance and copayment
  • Part B excess charges
  • Skilled nursing facility care coinsurance
  • Foreign travel emergency care
  • First three pints of blood used in a transfusion

The type of coverage you’re looking for will be the ultimatum in the Medigap plan you choose. And, with ten different plan options (A, B, C, D, HDG, G, K, L, M, and N), you’ll be sure to find a plan that meets your needs!
